Today sees the launch of the website dedicated to the Vangelis Skouras mystery trilogy and all things Greek that inspire it. I am currently working on book three Fishing With Fire while under coronavirus lockdown in London. Staying up to date on what is happening in reality is very important, but I confess it can be a relief to escape to the world of the books, remember and imagine better times under Greek skies. My hope is that when the books are published they will offer a safe harbour, an inspiring port of call for readers in which they can stock up with supplies to feed the soul on the uncertain voyage this life can present. There are so many books that have been that safe harbour for me. Time, I think, to revisit Tony Hillerman’s wonderful Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee mysteries set in the Navajo Nation.
